Our client is a boutique European bank, with branches in Beijing and Shanghai. They have invested in the Chinese market for years. Currently, we are helping them look for an IT Infrastructure, VP level, based in Shanghai, report to CIO based in HK.

• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network systems.
• Virtualization: Manage and optimize virtualization technologies to ensure high availability and performance of critical applications.
• Network Storage: Implement and maintain network storage solutions to ensure data integrity, security, and availability.
• Server Room Management: Ensure the server room environment is secure, efficient, and compliant with industry standards.
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors to procure, install, and maintain hardware and software solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all infrastructure components comply with Chinese banking regulations and industry standards.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and support for infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
• Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on virtualization, network storage, and server room management.
• Foreign Financial Institution Experience: Proven experience working in a foreign financial institution in China.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), network storage solutions (e.g., SAN, NAS), and server management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Chinese banking regulations and compliance requirements.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both Mandarin and English.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Cisco Certified Network Professional) are a plus.
