Our client is a leading Asia private fund in China.
Institutional Sales, VP, Shanghai
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining institutional clients, including but not limited to securities firms(asset management business, proprietary funds investment, etc), bank wealth management subsidiaries, family offices, UHNWIs, corporate accounts, trust and various FOF funds.
- Accountable for revenue growth and AUM growth whilst also ensuring profitability targets of the China Business
- Identify, develop and maintain effective professional relationships with key contacts and financial institutions, in line with business objectives
- Attend relevant industry events across China to establish personal and company profile and credibility, and to build relationships
- Assist to develop branding and marketing plans to meet the objectives of the business
- Organize client events tailor made to onshore clients (seminars, investment salon, etc)
- Assist the team on any ad-hoc tasks
Requirements
- 3-6 years of fund raising experience in a domestic private fund with more than USD500mn of equity AUM or in the institutional client business unit within a domestic asset management shop
- Strong academics preferred; candidates with a masters degree or MBA will be favorably considered
- Capable of undertaking business trips of a certain intensity
- Highly adaptable and good inter-personal skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Bilingual, some English is good enough
- Mastery with with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Fund qualification certificate is required
