Application Lead, VP

Job Description

Our client is an international financial service group. They are setting up a local team for the securities business in China.

- We are looking for a project delivery person with over 10 years application development, trading system implementation and business analysis experience. The candidate needs to demonstrate his/her successes in implementing Front and Middle Office onshore system solutions for FI/FX cash and derivatives products with business analysis capability, mainland vendor solutions market and confidence in working dynamically with internal and external parties.
- This role will be important for obtaining onshore securities business
licenses and future business buildout.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and support decision making for on-shore vendor system solutions Front to Back;
• Handle F2B requirements and face off key business stakeholders;
• Lead business system implementation and relevant in-house development when required;
• Coordinate with IT Infra, core team and service providers to manage dependencies;
• Manage CSRC and other regulatory requirements;
• Collaborate with regional and global teams for execution support and integration of IT solutions;
• Provide 2nd & 3rd line support for business systems and ongoing expansion.

Job Requirements

Role Prerequisites
• 10+ years in Business Analysis, system Implementation and project management on mainland on-shore securities markets;
• Familiar with FI & FX products including Bonds, Interest Rate Swap, Credit Default Swap, FX Spot/Forward/Swap and Repo;

For Internal & External Distribution
• In depth knowledge and hands-on exposure with at least one set of mainland vendor systems, e.g. Hundsun, Kingdom, Rootnet, Kingstar etc;
• Implementation experience with CFETS FI or FX trading platform would be a plus.
• Team player and passionate in sharing and learning with wide teams;
• Capacity to work with various business stakeholders, including senior Front Office people. Taking
ownership in end-to-end project delivery;
• Familiar with FO & MO business processes and regulatory requirements;
• Strong verbal and written communications in Mandarin and English;
• University degree in engineering or science;
• Driven and self-motivated for long-term career growth.
