About Emily Zhang
Specialist Area
I am responsible for recruiting middle to senior candidates for middle-back office of non-banking and financial services companies.
My Advice
China's financial market has a broad space for development, and things change fast. For candidates, opportunities and challenges coexist. Besides doing great in the current positions, candidates should also keep an eye on the market information and reassess personal competitiveness. Being content with the status quo may leave you behind the trend of the times in either salary or knowledge issue. Of course, hasty job-hopping is not advised. Before making the decision, please take overall consideration. Appearance isn't equal to truth and salary doesn't mean all.
My Background
I majored in Finance, with a bachelor's degree of economics from Shanghai International Studies University. After graduation, I joined Morgan McKinley. Prior to it, I had recruiting experience in a famous domestic financial company. Along with my native Mandarin, I can speak fluent English and understand Japanese. In spare time, reading, watching movies, playing Werewolves Within and participating in public-spirited activities are my favorites. I enjoy sharing and helping others.
