The CFO for a Joint Venture (JV) is responsible for managing all financial activities related to the JV. He/she will work closely with the CEO and other senior management personnel of the JV, providing recommendations on business strategies and financial decisions to ensure optimum profitability and shareholder value.

Responsibilities:
Develop financial strategies and plans for the JV in line with the overall business strategies and objectives.
Provide timely, accurate, and effective reporting of financial performance and analysis to enable management decision making.
Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and corporate governance requirements.
Manage and oversee all financial operations of the JV including accounting, audit, and tax functions.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management on key business decisions including investment opportunities, capital expenditure, and business restructuring.
Manage relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders to ensure access to capital, financing, and liquidity when required.
Develop and manage the budgeting process for the JV, ensuring accountability and adherence to set targets.
Manage the risk exposure of the business by ensuring implementation of appropriate control policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

12+ years of experience minimum
Strong command in English and Mandarin (Cantonese preferred but not required)
Experience working with IFRS reporting
JV working experience is a plus
Experience of working with international investors or shareholders
