Procurement Manager

Job Description

A collection of manufacturing, research and development, headquarters in one of special chemical company in Shanghai. The product market is predominant.

1、Establish the overall purchasing processes, including new supplier selection, EOQ, and quotation management, as well as supplier performance evaluation.
2、Implement inventory replenishment methodology to achieve inventory and delivery performance targets for raw materials.
3、Lead the raw material sourcing team and define priorities to do market survey and find new sources and approve suppliers. Continuously increase the local content.
4、Negotiate prices and any other terms (e.g. payment terms, lead-time, etc.) with suppliers to achieve an advantage for the company and to meet the annual cost targets within the established policies.
5、Continuously improve purchasing processes and provide qualified input to related processes / functions, meanwhile higher transparency to local / HQ management team.
6、Prepare and conduct supplier audits.
7、Enhance E-procurement, support Raw Material Introduction process, implement the Strategy.
8、Facilitate company strategies, like raw material localization, sustainability (especially package materials in foot print scope 3) and customer centricity.
9、Optimize shared service purchasing for the plant

Job Requirements

任职资格：
1、Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry or related subject or relevant experience。
2、Minimum 3 years sourcing team management experience in multinational chemical company.
3、Strong leadership and management skills; Ability to motivate team members in order to achieve results.
4、Understand the ways of doing business in an international environment; multicultural mindset exposure; Experience in dealing with international suppliers and internal interfaces, as well as importing and exporting raw materials.
5、Methodological competence (familiar with usual purchasing tools, dispositions, warehouse management, ABC analysis.
6、Strong cost awareness and negotiation skills.
7、Good command of English in speech and writing; familiar with SAP and MS office.
8、Familiar with quality management and quality standards.
