What is the job about?
- Support line manager in ensuring continuous identification and development of profitable growth opportunities in the Industry market in China.
- Accountable for identifying new trends and customer unmet needs in the Industry area, and translate these into customer co-creation or application-specific solution or new product development business case, value proposition and stakeholder requirement.
- Accountable for Standard pump product to Integrated VFD/Controlling solution business transformation strategy E2E implementation from solution concept, development, production, commercialization and service
Your main responsibilities:
- E&I New Product/Solution Input
- Capture regional market requirements, build up business case and define stakeholder requirement for Grundfos DP process.
- Support New Product/Solution Development activities securing regional input.
- Participate in Industry Division defined activities supporting Industry Global / China regional strategy.
- Collect regional input for GRP setting.
- Provides input to Global program management / Application Hub on needed modifications based on feedback from Sales and customers.
- Driving, Implementing and maintaining Business strategies and Plans incl. end user segmentation and vertical market for Industry China.
- Evaluating, prioritizing business opportunity in sub-segments of Industry China with key stakeholders.
- Driving, Implement customer co-creation and application-specific solution development projects in cooperation with relevant stakeholders (short- or long-term and across the entire value chain)
- Ensure knowledge sharing regarding future customer needs and long-term market trends with relevant functions.
- Continuously engage with customers and Sales Channels to promote new product/solution and collect 1st hand feedback through regular visits.

- Coordination of training events
- Conducts train the trainer sessions.
- Application understanding from a system perspectives
- Marketing and Launch
- Support and collaborate on local marketing material
- Participate in local launch activities and marketing
- Conducts continuous regional market and competitor intelligence
Your background: We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree of engineering or science
- Minimum 12 years working experience in Multi-national companies in Industry area.
- Minimum 6 years of experience working within business development, product management or relevant functions in industrial automation (PLC, drives, HMI, sensors) / system solution(cooling system, compressed air system, etc) companies.
- Experiences in sales, product development, operation will be beneficial.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in business growth initiatives.
- Proficient in applying best practices for Business Development within the Chinese context.
- Verified competence in joining forces with multiple departments and an eagerness to enhance business operations locally and internationally
