IT Solution Engineer Lead（WMS）

You will become a member of the China IT team.
The IT Solutions Engineer will lead a development team that will spearhead and participate in projects related to China's internal WMS and supply chain platform. This person will directly supervise, guide, and develop technical staff, and will be directly responsible for the professional technical guidance of backend developers. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for technical analysis, workload estimation, product and system design, architectural adaptability and compliance, resource scheduling, delivery milestones, and overall product quality.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical leadership for the development support of China's WMS and supply chain platform, solutions, and systems.
Be accountable for the development process and timelines.
Offer engineering support to business units and external teams.
Identify and manage industry-leading external developers and vendors.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with departments, teams, and employees that require coordination or collaboration.
Establish best practices and document technology; optimize the development cycle.

Job Requirements

This position requires the ability to manage a variety of requests and sometimes conflicting priorities. Candidates need to possess management and communication skills to interact with personnel at all levels within and outside China.

Your professional experience and key competencies should include but are not limited to:

Ability to use technology to streamline workflows and information gathering, aiding efficient decision-making and problem-solving.
At least 5 years of experience in online platform or web application development.
At least 2-3 years of experience managing technical professionals.
Understanding of potential models, lean data software development life cycles, and methodologies.
A bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in building with Java technologies and dynamic web development, such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, as well as relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.), and middleware (Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.).
Experience in creating and using RESTful web services.
Deep understanding of content management systems.
Familiarity with client/vendor solution architectures, connectivity technologies, web hosting, advanced network protocols, client-server technologies, application development, and multi-vendor environments.
Work experience in large media, tech, or internet companies, with at least one successfully launched project.
Experience or knowledge in DevOps management, deployment, and multi-environment setups.
Experience with at least one cloud platform, with preference for Tencent Cloud or Alibaba Cloud, and familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Successful application of data and future technologies.
Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations with a degree of ambiguity.
Ability to effectively guide and mentor others, asking questions, listening, offering advice, and providing encouragement when collaborating with teams.
