Job Description

Our client is a leading multinational mutual fund management company in China.

Purpose of the Role


Develop and implement business development strategy in China, with the ultimate objective of achieving business goals and increasing the firm’s share of market. Lead a team and work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver world class services and solutions to institutional clients in China and strengthen Company leadership in the market share and business competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the key person in managing relationship with head office and management team of institutional clients. Work closely with counterparts in both local and regional office to develop new business channel, product and service strategy for the group.

This is a crucial role for the development of Company’s China strategy. The Head of Institutional Sales is expected to provide overall strategic direction of China FMC’s Institutional business strategy.
Advocate and champion new product ideas with product team and provide relevant market insights on new product ideas and trends.
Provide strong leadership: Build and develop strong high performing culture for the team.

Experience and Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics or Finance.
Minimum of 10 years related experience within the mutual fund or asset management industry.
Deep understanding of the asset management and institutional distribution industry and strong knowledge of investments and financial markets.
Able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Excellent sales and relationship management skills evidenced by a commendable sales track record.
